Question
I have an item I want to have engraved. Can you engrave the item?
Yes. With exception.
While most of the time, we can do custom engraving on an item you already have, there are some limitations.
First is accessibility. Do you live around us? We are able to travel, but any distance outside of around 20 miles would be added to the price quote if we have to travel to pick up your item and/or deliver it back to you once done. We are able to do some minimal sized jobs on site, however, we are not able to transport our large bed CO2 laser which could limit the materials and size of the engraving/cutting requested. Your other option would be to mail your item to us. This can become expensive depending on the size of the item for obvious reasons.
Second is material. We are able to etch and/or engrave most materials with our CO2 laser.
Including: Wood, Acrylic, Leather, Plastic, Cardboard, MDF, PVC, Bamboo, Paper, Felt, Fabric, Mylar, Cork, Glass (treated), Fiberglass, Ceramic (treated), Brick, Stone, Cement, some metals, Aluminium.
We are able to cut some materials with our C02 laser.
Including: Wood, Acrylic, Leather, Plastic, Cardboard, MDF, PVC, Bamboo, Paper, Felt, Fabric, Mylar, Cork
Third is size. Our mobile laser is able to engrave and cut (some items) no bigger than a space that is 4.5 x 4.5 inches.
Our C02 laser is able to engrave and cut (some items) no bigger than around 24 x 34 inches. We are able to do longer pieces but only to engrave.
I don't have an item but I have a custom request. Would you be willing to see if you can make my idea come to life?
Yes.
I'm always willing to hear others ideas and see if I can make something happen.
Always keep in mind the limitations of the resources available. The lasers are engraving and cutting tools, not miracle workers.
Pricing
For custom creations, prices will vary by project. Please submit a quote request and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
On average, we charge $40.00 for the first hour of production and processing. And then we charge $20.00 for each hour after the first.
This cost does not include materials used to create your item. If you are providing the materials, you will not be charged for those materials unless the item has to be treated before it can be engraved (such as a painted coating so the laser can react to the material to engrave/cut). This cost also does not include any postage, handling, delivery, or travel costs. All these items would be disclosed in an estimated quote delivered to you prior to the project beginning production.
